As I walked out of my building to take my bus home, I thought to myself, here's nice shot, buses almost as far as I could see. Hoping that my bus was there, but I wasn't so lucky, I had to wait about 20 minutes for my bus, something not to surprising with the No.3 bus with OC Transpo. Rarely is it ever on time. I have a friend who calls it "OC Turtle" and I definitely know why he's nicknamed it that. Before this past July, I used to always walk to work as work was just around the corner, and not it's not so much around the corner, so I take the bus.
Great shot. And OC Turtle is pretty cute. I took the bus yesterday for the first time in months. Had to wait for 15 minutes after just missing the previous one. Despite standing in the median waving my arms at the bus, he didn't wait. Guess the turtle was in a rush. Jen (@jenholl)

ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment, and yeah, sometimes they are in a rush, even though it can be clear that you'd like to get on that bus. More reason sometime to find alternate ways to getting to work. Hope you're enjoying a snowy weekend.
