Who would believe that in the middle of February, the temperature outside would be 1C (34F) and it would be raining. This shot isn't the clearest, but with the light from the car, it's actually possible to see the rain bouncing off the pavement (no shutter speed control on this camera). Too bad for the tourists in town for Winterlude, the canal is now closed (may re-open depending if we get another cold spell), but tomorrow the weather is supposed to go up to 10C (50F). That's incredibly warm and a tease if you were to ask me! However, I don't really mind it warming up a bit, but I wished it would have waited until Winterlude was done as I didn't get a chance to go check out the snow sculptures.
i reaaaally like the reflections in the 2nd photo. well done ~
ReplyDeleteThanks Nelly, I have a few more with reflections, I'm not crazy about them, as I've mostly shot photos with a little point and shoot where I have very little control on anything except flash and ISO, so I do as much as I can. Thanks for the comment :)
ReplyDeletelooks good though - i like the painterly quality. P&Ss ftw ;)
ReplyDeleteThe P&S has been doing a pretty good job, but I've also taken one or 2 photos on this blog with my IPhone and maybe with my BB, I still haven't gone to my DSLR for photos. Just too clunky to be carrying around, while I don't know what I'm going to shoot, etc. Again thanks :)
