Talisman: The Board Game
I decided to take a few photos from tonight's board game called Talisman. We decided to change it up from our regular Tuesday night game and try it out. As you will see, the board game with the two map expansions takes a lot of place. It took us just over three hours to complete the game with only three players. Normally we would be at least four, but one person backed out tonight, which is probably not a bad thing, as the more players you have the longer the game can be. For those maybe familiar with this game and for those not so familiar, we were playing the fourth edition of the game with all the current expansions (view link to Fantasy Flight Games for more info). Tonight, it was the Dread Knight that was victorious! The photo above is of the Dread Knight with the Grim Reaper in the background (Fear the reaper as you could easily loose all of your character's lives!).

that last photo makes me think i should find my Tarot cards - have not seen them in a while. perhaps i shall consult my crystal ball...
ReplyDeletei must be the lamest person ever. the only game that will ever be my favourite board game is monopoly. the original one.
oh the great babka! you and your mumbo jumbo cards, rocks, etc and you even have a crystal ball, nice maybe I should go get my fortune read by you :p
ReplyDeleteYou have to reach out and try other games, you might find some to be fun and maybe challenge your current favorite monopoly ;)
i can't read your fortune. goes against the rules, as set by the great king-god Imhotep.
ReplyDeletealso, no crystal ball here either. you're just going to live on not knowing what will happen to you.
i lied. i don't just play monopoly (the one time every lunar eclipse), i also like chess.
but i don't like gaming much anyway, on or offline. an odd thing considering the generation i grew up in , but there you go.
but...but....you said you had a crystal ball and now you say you don't?!?! Make up your mind woman!
ReplyDeleteAs for the gaming, it's not for everyone, I've played in both online and boardgame. I like it, but in incremental doses. Too bad you don't play other games, maybe we could have played games sometime, or I could have invited you to our gaming nights.
